Megan Marx

Artistic Program Manager & Teaching Artist

As Artistic Program Manager and Teaching Artist at RTKids since 2018, Megan Marx provides musical theater training to NYC Public School fifth graders in PS Broadway, while managing and fostering the relationships with our public-school partners.

Megan believes in the power of the arts to foster empathy, collaboration, and confidence and advocates for access to equitable and culturally-responsive education. Prior to RTKids, Megan taught musical theater residencies at two public high schools through the Arthur Miller Foundation and has taught at The School at Columbia, Avenues: The World School, and Brooklyn Friends all through Broadway Bound Kids, and has taught for several NYC community organizations. Megan previously served as a co-host for digital tools through Move This World, the leading provider of interactive social emotional learning experiences for PreK-12 students. As a performer, Megan has performed across the country in regional theatre, Off-Broadway and national tours including performances at Radio City Music Hall and is a member of Actors Equity Association. Megan holds a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater from The Catholic University of America.
