Rosie’s Theater Kids Passes It On

Because of our ties to the city’s theater and dance communities, our students learn from some of the most accomplished and talented artists in the city, who generously share their time and talent to nurture the next generation. They are also mentored by RTKids Board Members and friends who impart wisdom, experience, and advice as needed. The impact these caring adults have on our students’ lives is immeasurable.

“It’s refreshing to see such high-level training from such a wide, diverse array of mentors and teachers. It’s great to share your knowledge with someone who’s going to take it and run with it.”
– Mayte Natalio, Mentor, Choreographer, Actor & Dancer

“There is nothing more rewarding than being a mentor at RTKids. I began mentoring Lisa as a freshman in high school and now, eight years later, she is graduating from college—the first in her family, and I am so proud.”
– Leslie Mayer, Mentor, RTKids Board Member & President, Mayer Productions

“Students are so focused and so open to receiving new information. They are going to be great leaders in the world of dance, theater, music, drama, because they get everything here. If you are fortunate enough to work with them, take the opportunity.”
– Earl Mosley, Mentor & Founder/Director, Diversity of Dance

“It’s been an absolute gift to see some of these students grow and develop over the years and step out into the world with an assured confidence. These kids truly are an example of tangible hope and promise of a better tomorrow.”
