Rosie’s Theater Kids Changes Lives

Many RTKids alumni maintain their strong connections to the organization long after they have graduated from the Maravel Arts Center. As a result, we provide them with valuable support and connect them to internships, jobs, mentors, and other unique opportunities that help them grow personally and professionally.

“I had no idea what an impact an arts education could have, and now at 22 I’m planning on pursuing my master’s degree in theater.”
– Zach, Class of 2017

“Years of rehearsals, performances, and academic guidance didn’t just train us to be better artists. They taught us valuable life skills like passion and determination.”
– Karen, Class of 2017

“RTKids taught me to work really hard for the things I want in life.”
– Autum, Class of 2016

“I learned how to communicate effectively and respectively. RTKids isn’t just about voice lessons and tap; it’s about fostering and cultivating a generation of human beings, not just artists.”

“Walking into Rosie’s Kids as an 11-year-old, you would never have been able to tell me how much of a sanctuary this place would end up being for me.”
– Tony, Class of 2013

“RTKids taught me that an arts education has the power to touch the soul, inspire the mind, and heal the heart. It has allowed me to develop a stronger individualistic point of view about the world and society in which I live in and how art can be a manifestation of my own values. The constant encouragement and support given to me has been instrumental in giving me a new perspective and direction I could not have been able to attain on my own.”
– Jose, Class of 2019
